I've recently been doing research into other modules that are commonly used by libraries and that have functionality that would be useful in combination with the library module that I'm writing. One module that looks particularly interesting is the Bibliography Module.
About 7 months ago, I was asked to develop a library system for one of the programs at WashU. I considered a number of different options.
Initially, I wanted to use views to generate the Work Order reports Ken requested. It seemed straight forward. I would use the date format vs. unix timestamps combined with the date browser. Ken would be able to move forward and back through months and years. This worked - but Ken wanted a report similar to the Excel spreadsheet he had Bob already creating.
